I've been trimming a few of my lower conviction holds this week to take advantage of better opportunities. It got me thinking, what's everyone's lowest conviction holding? That name you have just because you haven't found a better option. Also, why is it low conviction?
Mine are:
VGR. Discount tobacco seller. It's an ok company, decent growth and a huge dividend. It just doesn't have much history. I could easily find something better, I think.
TECK. I actually like the company. It blew up on acquisition rumors and it seems like the government of Canada will try to block anything. I might give it a few days to play out then sell while it's still up.
