Lithium stocks

So I have gotten into lithium companies over the past few years. I have captured gains a couple times but recently the lithium space has dropped about 20-25% – I have LAC, SQM and ALB. I am curious about SGML but not invested. I want to consolidate in to a single company. So looking for thoughts!

ALB has been around a while and has other revenue sources. But produces many lithium product to serve a number of industries. Also, as a company, it is the largest provider of Lithium for EV in the world!

SQM is a darling to many analysts and are currently producing lithium as well as other products. It reins as the second largest provider of lithium in the world. However, their mines are in Chile and there has been talk about nationalizing lithium which could hurt SQM.

Both SQM and ALB have significant revenues.

Alternatively there is LAC with a mining operation in Argentina and the Nevada Project (Thacker Pass) which is in development and should start producing in early 2024. Tesla and GM have invested significantly in LAC. LAC still has a negative earnings per share but improving dramatically. All reports seem to indicate a buyout candidate with in the next year.

Lastly SGML, which touts green lithium which means it is sustainably mines and mined with low carbon emissions as well as not requiring open pit mining. This week they announced the first shipments from their Grota do Cirilo Project in Brazil. Once ramped up May rival production of larger producers by year end. SGML performed the best over the past year.

LAC and SGML both have operations that will start production this year and are longer term prospects.
