More and more governments are forcing so called green vehicles on their citizens. One solution may end up being the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Many governments are also creating hubs for storage and production of “green hydrogen”.
My question is this- as volatile as companies like PLUG and BLDP are would it be prudent to open small positions in these companies? Or would you be going to the major producers who are hedging their bets. Like TTE, CVX, and SHEL.
I have exposure to pipeline companies and love those. I've never been a huge producer fan but am interested in hydrogen possibilities. There could be many winners in hydrogen. But they could also lose.
I know the fuel cell companies are not profitable and are hemorrhaging cash. But the possibilities are quite great.
I guess I'm looking for confirmation bias or flat out your and idiot stay away from hydrogen stocks.
Thanks!
