I have been investing since 18. 24 years ago. It provided me with a rewarding life in 30s where I was not millionare, but knew I would be at some point.
Alot has changed, a diversified portfolio would see many stocks go down, but others go up. I would sell some of the uppers and buy the ones struggling.
2018, I noticed every stock was going up or down. A diverse portfolio was not working as it had most of my life investing. Figured it was due to computers amd algorithms.
Lately, I notice every stock I own. About 45 of them go down or up 5.2% a day. Much bigger jumps then I am use to. For almost 2 decades, 1-2% in a day was a good jump. Take away crazy 2020. Anyone smarter then me explain this?
