I can understand that some sites will have internal filters for their own top gainers/losers lists, though it's frustrating that you have to essentially guess what those filters are.
However, what really confuses me is when sites that supposedly do not filter anything are still missing top gainers/losers found on other sites' lists.
For example, finviz screener, with zero filters, is missing top gainers that I see appear on investing.com's list. To name a specific stock, for 3/21, ticker IMH appears on investing.com's list at #2 with a % change of 89.81%, however this is not found on finviz's list.
Is finviz just applying internal filters that I cannot see or is there another reason why this mismatch exists? Additionally, even if finviz is applying an invisible filter, I cannot ascertain what they are filtering on, would anyone be able to provide insight on what it might be?
