I get the basics of the Silicon Valley Bank collapse (thanks to this which a fellow Reddit-er called an “ELI5 Timeline of the SVB Collapse) but the burning question left in my mind is what happens now? So the Feds swoop in, pay up, SVB is issuing statements about how “NOW they're the safest place to invest”, yadda yadda – but is that it? Will it just hobble along with Fed $ until it can stand on its own two feet again? Will it continue swirling the drain until it dies an inevitable death? Anyone betting Elon or someone will buy it? What is likely the next step?
