How does writing articles on Seeking Alpha looks like?

After trying to submit an article i came across 3 types of articles that you can publish. First is what interest me the most. Getting paid for writing an article about stocks is interesting enough for me to give it a shot. They made the whole payment process looks so simple and easy that it's a little bit suspicious. So my question is, how do you getting paid exactly? How hard it is to pass verification process? How many articles by “ordinary” people get rejected even though they are interesting and well written? Can really anybody be getting paid for writing articles?
