Was there any event at 12:30 est today that caused markets to fall?

Basically the title, I follow major news events via forex factory and economic calendar.
Can anyone point me in the right direction if there was a market triggering event at around noon today that caused markets to take sharp turn ? It seemed just like a news event only I can’t find any news event that’s listed on major economic calendar websites
