Jan 2, 1930 Certificate

Hi all, I recently found a certificate in my grandfather’s papers from Jan 2, 1930 for shares his mother bought for a firm called “Mergers Securities, Inc.” Has the appropriate signatures and seals.

This is obviously way before CUSIPs were established and I’ve found nothing wrong on the company itself, probably largely due to the generic name and the whole Great Depression thing. Out of all the papers I’ve found it’s the only one I’ve hit a dead end with the resources available to me (CapIQ, MorningStar, etc).

Am I best off just framing it and putting it in my office as a neat piece of history? Worth talking to a broker or historian? Thanks!
