What historical metrics do you use for analysis and trading decisions?

I want to start trading US stocks and don't really like technical analysis on its own but like the idea of historical metrics which is similar to TA. So I wanted to ask redditors what they use and if they built it themselves or have a provider. So if you do charting patterns (or not), what other indicators do you look at and where do you go to get them?
