Deciding to sell

Hey friends,

I bought some shares of PTON when it hit $7.68, believing it was valued a little closer to $13 and that it would steadily grow into that value. Immediately, it took off and is now sitting at $11.68. I'm curious on the strategies the group uses when deciding to sell. I want to know if I should just slap a “Limit” sell on my shares at $13 and take the profit as soon as it hits my price target.

Do any of you hold past your price target? I have emotional attachment to the stock, as I have used almost all of the equivalent companies products and PTON stands out as the best product in my opinion. Because of this emotional attachment and the volatile nature of PTON, I'm worried I'll hold with little to gain.

Tanks.
