Why BILL Stock Lost 56% in 2022

The SMB payments expert BILL (BILL, 0.74%), formerly known as Bill.com, saw a decline in shares in 2022, trending with a general sell-off in SaaS stocks.

According to data from S&P Global Market Intelligence, BILL produced strong results throughout the year, but a high valuation and the absence of GAAP profits hurt the stock, and shares ended the year down 56%.
