Does buying an options contract on stock you recently sold invalidate a wash-sale?

I might have made a mistake. I sold a small amount of Tesla, Coinbase, and NVDA awhile back and then bought some Puts on them (made a little but nothing compared to what was lost over the past year from the stocks going down). I assumed I could just use the losses to help on my taxes to offset other gains, but then it hit me that maybe an option contract is considered the same as owning stock in the eyes of the IRS and that would invalidate my losses (it is and it isn't at the same time from what I understand being only a contract that controls stock and not the stock itself).

So… did I screw myself? Rookie mistake?
