Young and no experience, want to invest for my future. What should I look at in this dip?

As the title says, I know this is a great chance to buy stock and invest for the future, I’m just not sure what stocks I should look at. I have a few hundred to start and plan to invest $50-$100 every check. I thought common sense would be invest in big companies like Amazon, apple etc but again, I know almost nothing about stock. Any help or any tips on where to find help is appreciated!
