The Santa Claus Rally has a specific time frame: it is defined as a rally that occurs in the last 5 trading days in December and the first 2 trading days in January.
Since 1969, the market has seen gains over that time frame 77% of the time.
I see so many posts on here complaining that the Santa Claus rally hasn't come yet, or speculating when the Santa Claus rally will come, etc. Clearly there are a number of folks in this subreddit who don't understand what the Santa Claus rally is, so here's your clarifier.
