It's that time of year again (some might say it's late to do so but … So be it)
I'm in Canada and decided to offset some of my gains (despite the dogs, have had quite a few wins) to do a bit of tax selling to clean up the portfolio.
I'm bullish long term for stocks, not in a hurry to sell, but it would be foolish to hold if I can sell some at a loss, rebuy in 30 days or longer and get them same price or cheaper … And right now everything is looking gloomy for stocks until at least half of 2023 (my guess). None of the stocks presented here were bought within the last 30 days.
What are your candidates for sale right now and what timeframe to rebuy? And which to forget about?
Some I believe in (unity, but no short term catalysts within next few months)
Intel is a gamble but need to wait a few years minimum.
Some is just a mistake, even if they could be multibaggers (chinese stocks for example, I have learned my lesson). I also need to do more ETFs down the road …
