Is it a bad idea to hold through a reverse merger?

I have have only seen 2 reverse mergers before and they both dumped after the reverse merger. Have you guys seen other reverse mergers that did good after? I am in $VLON and they are going to have a reverse merger what do you guys think. Any input is appreciated!
