the bullet point is, if the CEO starts tweeting about different topics/problems the company has some problems.
To explain my narrative I take elon musk as an example. When he started twitter most of his tweets are Tesla or SpaceX related. The progress was insane and he got really hyped for that, to keep up the hype the statements became bolder and bolder. In 2 years self driving cars, 2030 first mars colony etc. etc. etc.
Overtime he couldnt fullfill them and couldnt feed his ego so he started “different” projects for example, Boring Company to generate hype again. Everybody was exciting and he could play his role again. The tweets became more widespread and he also tweeted stuff from his private live. Which people loved. People loved Elon Musks opinion. Everything he said was gold.
Overtime the projects he started became less “meaningfull” like the whole story with shiba inu. He celebreted himself as crypto good for few weeks and after everything collapsed he pretended like he didnt knew what was going on….
His jumps to the next thing became shorter and less meaningfull. For one week he was a Urkaine/Russia war expert. Than woke expert etc. Now he bought Twitter just to play god as you can see. It hasnt much to do with improving the world its rather like a coke addict getting his next fix.
Elon Musk is/was famous for working 60-80h a week 49% Tesla 49% SpaceX and as joke he said 2% for his fun project. Currently it lokes like he is spending way more time with as his different “projects”.
In summary:
What started as “meaningful” ideas to help people (and his ego a little) turned into full ego projects which only exist to fed his ego and nothing elese.
This shows that the relationship between Elon and his companys arent that great anymore and that they are more detached from each other than the used to be. If Elon doesnt step down overtime or get replaced Tesla and SpaceX could be in deep water. There could be also the possibility that Elon isnt simply needed anymore and his position is only exist for markting reasons!
I also saw the same behavior a lot in the crypto space. Young kids developing a god complex and overtime get completly delusional and often destroying their companys or the are currently on their way!
