Need some advice

Hey, I’m currently a 21 year old college senior with some questions. A couple years ago during the whole gamestop thing, I made an account and messed around with options, inevitably losing it all. Since then, I have been waiting for a good entry into the market to just buy and hold for awhile and I feel now is the time. I have about 1,000-1,500 dollars I can throw into the market, and need some advice on what should be my best course of action. Should it be individual stocks, or ETF’s? And which stocks or ETF’s? Any replies would be appreciated. thanks
