The Problem with waiting to buy until 2% inflation and a Fed Pivot

If inflation begins closing in on its 2% trajectory because of shelter inflation finally being computed into CPI along with falling oil prices and slowing demand for other goods and services why wait to buy? The market will immediately price in falling inflation beforehand and may even ignore the Fed. I've seen people say I will buy once inflation finally hits 2% or until the Fed pivots. The market will always try to sniff out a Fed pivot beforehand and start pricing it in. We are currently seeing this right now and we have seen it many times before. Just continue to DCA and you will not miss the bottom.
