There’s a new FOMO bubble

Looking around for some new potential investments and I can't help but notice that there are certain stocks that have basically gone parabolic in recent months and keep showing up on social media feeds. The only explanation that makes sense is that investors are piling into these specific stocks and we're basically seeing a repeat of the post-COVID FOMO bubble but in very specific names.

Examples:

  • DGII – Gained >100% in 7 months and now at an all time high.
  • SMCI – Gained ~85% in 6 weeks(!) and ~150% in less than 6 months
  • ENPH – Gained 85% in less than 5 months and 180% in about 10 months

I guess some people never learn.
