Is the current situation with Russian oil causing mineral/mining stocks to rise somehow? And why?

I'm asking out of ignorance, I don't know the relationship between oil and minerals mining and how they influence one another in respect to stock trading but I'm curious if the current instability with Russia and Russian oil is causing people to buy into mineral mining?
