Would you rather hold a stock that loses $1000 or $200

This is about trading psyche. Before the stock split tsla was worth at a high of about $3000 or more, lets say you still held that stock and it lost $1000 in value would have been more fearful if you held that stock then if you held Tesla now that is worth $190 but was worth at high of $402 after the stock split?
