Semiconductors are clearly a promising play for the next 5-10 years in my opinion and I have been meaning to invest in the industry. The only downside I see is the instability with China/Taiwan/US and how much geopolitical issues affect the stock price. If China ends up invading Taiwan, most of the major Semiconductors would crash because they are based in Taiwan. Since ASML is a Dutch company, would you guys consider this a less risky investment to get into the semiconductor industry without being exposed to the unpredictability of the CCP? The only counterargument I can see is that 16% of ASML's revenue comes from China.
