Is it smart to invest during a recession? Shares are really cheap right now so at the end of the recession they could go up. But at the same time the recession could be just beginning. I've invested about $85 in fractional shares and index funds so far. Is there a chance of any businesses going bankrupt as a result of the recession? My shares include Amazon, Disney, AT&T, CAT, and Walmart.
