When I have been watching my investments I've noticed something that leads me to a question. I've seen pre market trading for one of my stocks (IBM) be at some number. Let's say 500,000 for simplicity. On some days the day continues on up from the 500,000 mark and on others it is below that. Like dropping to 250,000 and then continuing from there.
Safe to assume canceled orders? Error in tracking? Something else?
