(Relatively) Safest instrument for short-term investing?

I have about $120 or ₹10,000 in my savings account. I want to invest this amount in the short term. I might need this money any time so I want to keep the investment liquid. What is the best place I can invest?

I am okay with Low Risk & Low Return as anything is better than letting the money sit idle in a savings account.
