It seems like BABA holding is cult to me. A collection of people who choose to deny reality the more they lose money. Similar to how scientology has you pay enormous fees in order join them and rise through the ranks. And instead of Tom Cruise, they have Charlie Munger as their leader.
Maybe the most prestigious BABA holders are the ones who have lost the most money. They've lost such enormous amounts of money that their perception of time and reality has shifted to a reality-denying state of mind. Like kings they reign over peasants in their schizo fantasy. Similar to how Peter Pan refuses to leave never-never-land, and face reality.
BABA was my largest position, but I downgraded it significantly because I noticed my perception shifting into a Matrix-esque reality. I started seeing 1's and 0's on my bedroom ceiling during the first few seconds after waking up. I saw the 1's and 0's in random moments throughout my day like glitches in the system.
Sometimes the 1's and 0's would shift into B's and A's. I'd spend countless hours arguing with people about BABA on internet forums until I lost track of time — time ceased to exist.
Ever since I downgraded my position I've been happier. Sometimes I feel withdrawal. Like when I'm standing in the shower I suddenly remember how much money I lost, and I let out a faint whimper like a dog who's tail has been stepped on.
This realization is freeing.
