What are some good short term stocks to use for savings for a big purchase?

I was looking for some good stocks that would be good to add to my portfolio for short term savings (1-5 years). I plan on buying a expensive car and would just like to have the money sitting in some ETFS rather than a savings account.

I've been looking into VTI but don't want to do 100% into that and was curious if there are any others.
