I forgot about those more boring industries, which don't have a sexy product, but are still big industries making a lot of money. I'd like to put some money into some insurance company stocks.
I'm not looking for too much risk for these. So big cap, kind of blue chip companies. Solid companies with good long term outlook.
But I am looking for exposure and diversification in at least a couple different specialties:
Health insurance, life insurance, home insurance, car insurance, umbrella insurance, supplemental insurance, etc…
And I understand there's different types of insurance companies.
There's a lot of great stocks to chose from here, that I need to narrow down.
Metlife, UnitedHealth, Cigna, Prudential, Aflac, Cigna, Aon, Sunlife, AIG, Allstate, Progressive, etc… just to name a few.
Or alternatively, a good ETF with strong insurance companies.
