Last Monday I sold deepest ITM SEP02 CCs. The strike was slightly above the closing price yesterday so I assumed I will keep the premium and the stocks. However, when I opened the app this morning (Saturday), both the options and the equivalent amount of the underlying stock are gone, as if they were exercised.
Is this just some transitory state while accounting is doing it’s job or have I misunderstood something as I have never sold deep ITM CCs.
Any information is much appreciated.
