Everything Russian froze/halted, surprise, surprise. My orders are getting cancelled. I just got off the chat with Schawb, they're exchange has put a lock-down on securities with no ETR.
I'm hearing/seeing some markets(?) are allowing liquidating but that also means someone's buying. Somewhere. Unless that's also not true and most securities and trades are frozen with a few exceptions. IDK. Anyone know whats going on? Where is there still buy access?
It's just my observation that this is part of the sanctions imposed and US institutions are leaning hard into the recent policies to comply and enforce pressure on Russia, but that doesn't give the retailer much of a bloodscent.
Any guesses on whats going to happen next at street level or any suggestions on finding other platforms still trading Russia?
