I've identified two ways: getting a margin account and actually shorting, or buying an inverse leveraged product like SQQQ.
I lean towards SQQQ type inverse ETFs but I don't see them ever making gains except for a month at max before doing low again. I heard this is caused by decay because they are derivatives of futures or something like that.
Straight up short selling seems like it would work but I'm a bit scared about borrowing money and the risk associated with it.
Any ideas or tips I should know about?
