Hello, I'm new here so don't hold back on information. So I know a million things can change, but if today's crisis is something similar to the one of 2008, how would one go about profiting from this kind of situation if they have extra cash? My thought process is this, i regularly invest into funds, and it's kinda a long-term plan. Now with inflation the money I have is loosing value, but I don't see a point in dumping a few hundred into my funds since I won't cash out for the next 10+years. My question would be, if it shoots up like it did after 2008, what are my options to kind of gamble some money in hopes of returning profit in the upcoming year?
