how do I claim DRS shares awarded to be by my old employer?

I received a stock award of some shares in drs format from an old employer. I verified that the shares were still there and everything and got an account statement from “continental stock transfer and trust” showing the shares in my name, advising me to give my broker the statement sheet to make the transfer to a brokerage account(I don't have a broker, I'm poor, just apps). My question is, how do I get these shares into my Robinhood or webull account, or do I have to pay some broker and set up a real investment account somewhere like Ameritrade or Schwab?
