Would you take part in a stupid, losses-guaranteed investment if it was for a good humanitarian cause?

The hype about the meme stocks last year showed everyone that a coordinated action of a bunch of individuals could cause noticeable, although not greatly important, effects on the market. At least, it got everyone to take notice and talk about GME.

Most people would also agree that investing in a struggling company like GME was not necessarily the smartest move from a classical investment theory point of view.

In light of the war in Ukraine, I was wondering: Suppose someone pointed out a financially stupid investment possibility that would, however, send a statement to the market. Would you sink some of your money (how many percent?) into it just to make a humanitarian statement?
