Hoping someone can explain this: on Sunday night I put in an order on my Schwab account for market open on Monday morning, but when the purchase went through Monday morning the price of each share had increased beyond what I initially purchased them for. The order cost the whole $1700 that I had in Schwab that morning, and when the order went through my balance on my account was negative (-$175). So, who paid that additional money? I put in another 175 today and the balance went back to 0. But is this normal?
