Ranitidine/Zantac lawsuit

Sanofi and GSK Lead $40 Billion Rout as Zantac Worries Mount

Both GSK and HALEON (the recently spun-off oral health company) are getting hammered, losing 9% and 12% respectively today.

I believe Zantac was produced by GSK and is still a GSK product, so why is HALEON affected by the lawsuit? Surely only one entity is liable?

I've been watching GSK for a while, so at GBX 1,400, I have started buying in. However I noticed HALEON is affected too. If HALEON is not liable at all, but is merely dragged down because of its association with GSK, then I think HALEON is a bargain right now?
