I was watching CNBC 20 minutes ago and their host said that Jamie Dimon of Chase said consumers were still looking great (and a bunch of other positive things), and the host said this is a far cry from the same Jamie Dimon who just weeks ago said we might be going into a financial hurricane.

I did a search on twitter and Google News and couldn't find this quote CNBC is referring to. Not saying the host is making it up. But if anyone has this quote and source I would love to see it.

Assuming this quote is correct, what are your thoughts about this assessment. Chase is maybe the top 3 consumer bank in America so they have a lot of visibility into the health of the consumer both in their savings rates and spend rates.
