Being a bull, you're betting on the world to continue and maintain. For life and humanity to flourish, and frankly a lot of the economic pain isn't felt by those who are deeply invested in stocks.
Being a bear, you're betting on the world to enter extreme pain, it's almost being paralyzed by fear in anticipation of humanity entering such crisis where we all suffer immensely.
I don't like being a bear, am optimistic of the future and mankind to resolve its issues, even if there are hardships at times, they should just be viewed as opportunities to buy cheaper, as humanity will endure and progress in the end.
