I was.up significantly at one point with Palantir, Roku, SQ, BABA in my portfolio and never thought to put protection on the downside. Totally amateur of me investing in a deflationary environment and only knowing the bull market. Thought I was buying good companies at the time. Lost all my gains and I'm well in the negative. Kicking myself as this could have been limited.
