What are some stocks that will never completely fail?

I just want to put a bunch on money on some stocks and forget about those for a few years.

This is not made with profit in mind but simply as a mean to fight back inflation.

I am new to this but I was thinking maybe Nasdaq? Yes there are recessions but I don't see the technology sector becoming less important in the future.
