VTI Over The Past 10 Years

I'm using Seeking Alpha and looking at VTI. The 10-year chart, shows that VTI has returned 201%over the past 10 years, which is 20% annually. Am I reading this correctly? It seems too high because I normally hear people say VTI usually averages around 8-10%. Thank you!
