Ahead of Google releasing earnings next week, they have announced they will pause hiring for 2 weeks saying to employees “We’ll use this time to review our headcount needs and align on a new set of prioritized Staffing Requests for the next three months,” said Prabhakar Raghavan, senior vice president at Google, in an email obtained by The Information.
Does anyone else think they see this as getting ahead of a poor earnings release?
Google's last earnings was a huge miss! First one in quite some time.
