TLDR – Generac runs lots of commercials, but when you call for an appointment they don't show.
I swear I see at least a dozen Generac commercials every day – some for their backup generators and some for the solar + battery. Anyway, I figured I'd get a quote so I finally called them. The asked a bunch of questions to prequalify me and then scheduled a time for somebody to stop by and give me a quote. That day came and the guy never showed up. No call, no email, no nothing, they just didn't show up.
So a few days later I called them back. They had no way to look into what happened, so we had to go through the whole pre-qual spiel again and they scheduled another technician visit. And again, it was a no-show. How the hell does this company make any money?
