Chocolate is a hard habit to quit. I know this because it took some effort to stop eating chocolate a few year ago.
Any collapse in chocolate sales volume is a terrible sign for affordability of the economy. The forgoance of an inexpensive treat like chocolate could be a sign that sales volume across entire sectors could come down.
