I believe this would be a great short term buy and medium term sell.
Long term is okay due to security and dividends but there are probably better options if you’re looking for growth.
My reason for short term buy: the sale will most likely go through. The market has sent everyone down so price is behind great to buy (If the sale doesn’t go through you would still be secure but be forced to hold a bit longer).
My reason for medium/ short term sell: Activision has a pretty toxic dev and player base. Microsoft is a bit extreme on the Human Resources department of players and will most likely follow the Minecraft route of over censoring the environment especially after the sexual accusations that had happened with Activision. People will be unhappy.
Another reason is greed. The price will immediately jump up and then other people will sell causing a price correction. You will also want to sell. You can buy again later if you really want to.
