Taking money out of the Stockpile app – incorrect account number


Apologies in advance, but this company really tests my patience at this point.

I am trying to withdraw my money from Stockpile where I was gifted some stocks a while back. I have sold the stocks already and am ready to withdraw to my bank. After connecting to my bank (Chase) the account number that appears in the Stockpile app is NOT my checking accounts last 4 digits. Naturally, I am hesitant to send the money to a foreign set of digits. I have since disconnected and reconnected many times only to have the same 4 digits appear.

As expected, reaching out to Stockpile is futile effort as I am sure they are swamped with hate mail.

Has anyone else had this experience? Am I to just trust it will make it to my account?

I just want to be done with this app and their scamming ways, but it appears I cannot get off the hook that easy. I suppose it could be dummy numbers to protect account number info, but how would anyone trust that it is set up correctly?

Anyway, please let me know if you also have a non-matching account ID in the bank connection.
