I am using Reddit as one of many ways in following the market sentiment, news and just to see what people are into. Reddit is not my “source” for insipration or knowledge, but I find it to be a amusing and good took for financial purposes. But why is r/stocks almost 99% about US stocks? Is it purely do the the demographic of it’s member or is it it’s culture?
I myself am 95% invested in Norwegian stocks. And this year, and a lot of the Norwegian investors have done quite well. Particullary with shipping related stocks. This is in stark contrast to a lot of investors here.
Hence my question, why is everyone so focused about the US and very rarely talking about stocks from other countries?
Thanks a lot
