Long-term traders: In your experience, is it common for there to be multiple “dead cat bounces” during the downward descent in a recession?


Title says it all, but I'm asking because I first learned of this term a few years ago on this subreddit. So far, reddit has actually been fairly great about calling DCBs (IME).

I'm wondering how many of these typically occur during a recession cycle. Are there typically 1-2 of these, are there more like 6-10, is it 20+, is it unknown because we're in such new territory?

Just trying to get a better understanding of HOW some of you are spotting these so well.
